Description:
In January 2023, Thian and Sinsin found themselves on their knees in a small room, praying for guidance. With hearts full of passion and a desire to serve God, they asked for a place where they could dedicate themselves to full-time ministry. Though they knew God was calling them into His service, they weren’t certain where He would lead them. But God, in His perfect timing, opened a door at Children’s Bible Ministries (CBM) a year later, offering them the opportunity to serve as internship coordinators. This answered prayer has led them to the CBM National Office in Tennessee, where they now serve in their new roles.
Thian and Sinsin’s story is a living testament to the faithfulness of the Great Counselor, who faithfully provides for those who trust in Him. Both from Chin State, Myanmar, they have been family friends for years, united by a shared calling to children’s ministry. Their journey together began at a church camp in 2019, leading to their marriage in May 2022, and the birth of their first son, Adriel, on December 14, 2024.
Thian, who graduated with a Bachelor's in Christian Ministries from Bob Jones University, is now pursuing his Master’s in Biblical Counseling at Bob Jones Seminary. He has wholeheartedly answered God’s call to serve in children’s ministry. Over the years, Thian has worked passionately, serving in a variety of roles, from church camps and curriculum writing to leading summer camps and speaking at mulitple conferences hosted within the Chin communities. For several years, he has traveled the U.S., pouring into the next generation by organizing and leading children’s day camps at Chin churches, touching hundreds of lives with the gospel.
Sinsin, who is working toward her Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies, with a concentration in Teaching and Learning, has always felt a deep calling to serve children. She gave her life to Christ at the age of five and, at fifteen, felt God’s unmistakable call to children’s ministry. Since then, she has faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher in her home church. By God’s grace, she has joined Thian in serving children across the country, teaching and sharing the gospel with children at Chin churches each summer, nurturing their hearts and souls.
Together, Thian and Sinsin have made a lifelong commitment to serving God as a family, standing firm on the promise found in Joshua 24:15, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Their journey has been filled with incredible testimonies of God’s faithfulness and provision. They have witnessed God's love and miraculous provision time and time again. Today, they have made the difficult decision to step away from their growing small business and fully commit their lives to serving the Lord as full-time missionaries. But they cannot do it alone.
This is where you come in. Like all CBM missionaries, Thian and Sinsin rely on the support of individuals and churches who share in their mission. They are not paid by CBM; instead, they are supported by the generosity of believers like you. Your financial partnership will allow them to continue to serve, equip, and empower children and interns with the love and hope of Christ. Every donation, big or small, plays a vital role in enabling them to continue this important work, changing lives and spreading the gospel to the next generation.
Will you prayerfully consider supporting Thian and Sinsin as they follow God’s call to serve at CBM pouring out to the children and interns? Your support will make an eternal impact, helping to build the Kingdom of God, one child at a time.
