As many of you know, sweet Samson Robert Petersen entered the world at 8:31pm on the evening of January 6th, 2020, weighing in at 7lbs 11oz. Samson is the most content little guy and is so loved! Samson was born with Down Syndrome and will require heart surgery in a few months when he is bigger and stronger. The surgery is tentatively scheduled for April 9th of 2020. It will be a long road, but he's already living up to the meaning of his name strength and warrior, which we picked before we knew of his diagnosis. Please keep Samson in your prayers! He is in great hands in the NICU at the U of M Masonic Children's Hospital. We are hoping all five of us can be home together shortly.
