We are so close to reaching our goal to have this memorial completed by this fall and need your help in pushing this project forward. After completion we will work on the education part of the memorial to give the community an opportunity to learn about the individuals that gave the ultimate sacrifice in defence of our Nation. 

 

The mission of Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza is to preserve and honor the legacy of our fallen Nevadan Service Members since 1864.  We have been working on this since 2014. When completed fully, the NVMP will have the names of our fallen Nevadans and the Ron E. Smith Educational Path, named in loving memory of our dear friend and Co-Founder. The educational path will display Nevada’s history and involvement throughout the years in regards to our country's freedom.  It will be a place for Veterans and Educational Groups to gather and hold various events, a place for families to teach their children, a hallowed ground for those who lost loved ones, a platform to learn, teach, and storytell, and a staple in our community for those traveling through to stop and appreciate or freedoms.
