In Haiti, education is not free, and many families struggle to provide their children with the opportunity to learn and grow. Among these families is a dedicated mother of seven, who is determined to send her six school-aged children to school despite the numerous challenges she faces.

Her husband passed away a few years ago, leaving her to care for their children alone. The burden of school fees takes away from her ability to put food on the table. Last year, she was only able to send two of her six school-aged children to school. She has been fighting hard to feed them, but the overwhelming cost of education makes it nearly impossible.

While we are working to find her a position within our job creation initiative, we currently do not have a place for her.

Every mother deserves the chance to provide an education for her kids, and while we can't change the future for all students in Haiti, we can make a significant difference for this family.
