Eye of An Immigrant is dedicated to elevating voices, funding pathways to legal citizenship, and fostering a welcoming community. Our vision is to create a society where every individual is valued and celebrated for their diverse experiences. Eye of An Immigrant has three fundamental pillars: 

1. Storytelling: Eye of an Immigrant's storytelling campaign stands firmly upon three pillars: breaking the silence barrier, cultivating community advocacy, and shifting the narrative. By engaging communities, it endeavors to reshape the prevailing narrative, challenging stereotypes and fostering a culture of inclusivity and celebration of diversity.
2. Financial Assistance: A commitment to removing the formidable financial barriers hindering the path to citizenship. By providing funding for United States Citizenship and Immigration Services application filing fees, this pillar serves as a beacon of hope for countless individuals navigating the complex immigration process.
3. Resource Assistance: Eye of An Immigrant offers a plethora of additional outside resources, catering to the diverse needs of all. By fostering a supportive community network, this pillar creates a nurturing environment where immigrants can thrive, forge connections, and access the tools necessary to build a brighter future.

Established in 2020 as a storytelling campaign by Komalpreet Kaur during her junior year of high school, Eye of an Immigrant originally aimed to share immigrant stories in Kansas City. Evolving into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission expanded to support families throughout their entire immigration legal process. Through compelling podcasts and blogs, we strive to elevate immigrant voices, while also actively addressing the financial barriers by funding USCIS filing fees, ensuring a legal pathway to citizenship. At the heart of our vision is the commitment to creating a welcoming community where immigrants feel empowered and embraced.
