Welcome to Bible Training for the World’s Ethiopia donation page.

If you have read Bible Training for the World’s welcome letter, you have seen testimonies of how welcome and fruitful the Handbook of Bible Doctrine is in Ethiopia. For the sake of those who haven’t, I’ll briefly summarize it here and then offer instructions for donating. In 2010, Dr. Kumar of Andhra Pradesh, India, asked if I would condense my systematic Bible Studies at biblestudyproject.org into a booklet that he could use for discipleship and pastoral training in India, and thus was born. A year or so later, Zemen Endale Lashetew a Bible teacher of thousands in Ethiopia, asked if he could use some of my studies in his training, and I suggested the Handbook. Thus far, by the grace of God and the generosity of donors, almost 95,000 copies of A Handbook of Bible Doctrine has been printed and distributed in the native languages of these countries and is still in great demand.

Pastor Haftee Waaqoo, Principal to Kumeshi Theological College Ethiopia, Oromia, wrote, "I was overwhelmed by the contents of your 'kitaaba xiqqaa' (Handbook of Bible Doctrine) May I access to different theological courses compiled into Afaan Oromo. You'll never guess what I told him. ?  

From Zemen Endale Lashetew, my close brother in Christ and partner in Ethiopia: “I was in the country side and giving trainings and so excited by what I saw in the different local churches. One of the pastor told me that the Handbook is a material for their children's ministry services. Last time he trained to use the materials in their home cell system, now I saw that they are using to teach children in different age groups.” 

From theological colleges to churches to home cell groups to children's classes to Zemen's training facility in Sululta, the Handbook is in great demand and bearing much fruit for the Lord's kingdom. For this, of course, I am filled with great joy.
