Description:
Brethren of Andrew Jackson Lodge, No. 120, and their friends are supporting the preservation and framing of Alexandria - Washington Lodge's George Washington Bicentennial Flag. Created in 1931 for the 1932 bicentennial celebrations of George Washington's Birthday, the velvet and silk, handpainted banner was used in the dedication of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial. Preservation efforts are underway to ensure the banner is properly displayed for the Washington Tricentennial Birthday. Gifts are given in honor of the Fraternal bonds between AJ120 and AW22, who share many dual members across the hall of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
