Description:
These past five years in France, Brother Andrey Ternavskyi (42 years old from Ukraine) has been working with me. He has constantly moved forward and has now begun his ministry as my full-time national coworker, training to become a church planter in France. I am counting on his help at Brive during my furlough absence in 2024 and Andrey is working hard to establish the church at Perigueux.
He is married to Marina. Both Andrey and Marina were saved and baptized by immersion in Ukraine. Andrey and his wife are workers. Since their arrival in France in 2017 they have sought to serve the Lord and have led twelve people to the Lord. They have two boys, Vlad (18) and Victor (15). As a family they prayerfully chose to stay in the city of Périgueux in order to help me and to serve the Lord in our little mission church.
Andrey volunteers time at the food bank, takes Bible Institute classes and serves the Lord at Perigueux and Brive. Marina has begun a Sunday School class at Perigueux and Andrey continues working with the young people. He is also discipling some of the men to train them for leadership. Andrey and Marina work as a team. They have also held Bible studies and done evangelism in a small town called Buge and hope to plant a new work there. The entire family has been active in camp ministries and has also helped with evangelism at Albertville. Andrey has also spent much time helping the Ukraine war refugees and has led several of them to Christ and baptized them. Both Andrey and Marina have helped the local government by translating for the Russian-speaking war refugees. Lord willing, Andrey hopes to organize the mission at Perigueux into a local church as soon as possible.
We are raising $2500/month so that Andrey might serve the Lord full time as my coworker until February 2026. If you are led to help Brother Ternavskyi, it would be a great blessing to him and to us.
