What%u2019s a DTS? It%u2019s a Discipleship Training School that YWAM (Youth With a Mission) offers. It%u2019s a three months leadership/classroom/lectures school, and then three months of out reach (totaling six months) where I will be traveling to a different country and be activated in what I learned during the first three months. So, I%u2019m stepping out in faith and simple obedience to answer the call of Jesus. I will be doing the track, Compassion Ablaze. Compassion Ablaze demonstrates the love of Jesus through acts of mercy. The heart of Compassion Ablaze is for the margins of society and for issues of injustice %u2013 for women and children-at-risk, those caught in the trap of systemic poverty, those without a voice, the homeless, those struggling with life addictions, and those who have been sexually abused, trafficked or enslaved. We don%u2019t just want to talk about bringing the joy and freedom of the Gospel to the hard places, we want to actually do it, to do whatever it takes to bring the presence and fragrance of heaven to those too often forgotten.
